Rules & Regulations

Decision Making
  • All rules and guidelines are defined by the Organizing Team. Umpire decision is final at all situations. If any team fails to accept the umpire's decision and engages in arguments that delay the match schedule, the umpire may, in the interest of time, disqualify that team.
Number of Overs
  • Preliminary Stage: 6 overs per side
  • Qualifier Stage: 6 overs per side
  • Quarter-final: 6 overs per side
  • Semi-final: 6 overs per side
  • Final: 6 overs per side
Bowling & Fielding Restriction
  • Across all Stages, be it Preliminary Stage, Qualifier Stage, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final, Maximum 2 overs per bowler.
  • Throughout the innings, a maximum of 3 fielders will be allowed to field beyond the inner circle (3 must be inside the inner circle); umpire to clarify the inner-circle specification.
  • Players are not permitted to bring in a substitute during the match unless a player is injured and the change is approved by the umpire.
  • Batsman Rotation: Teams may rotate the batsman among the 8 members at any point during the match.
Bat
  • Plastic bats are not allowed to play.
Squad
  • 8 players per team (13 per squad)
  • All players, regardless of gender, are welcome to participate—there are no restrictions.
Timeline
  • Every team must report 45 minutes prior to the scheduled match time.
  • Any team arriving after the scheduled commencement time will have to play with the limited players available on the ground, or if there's a complete no-show, the opponent team will be considered the winner. Maximum 10 minutes grace time will be permitted subject to concurrence from the opponent team. If both teams are not present at the scheduled time, the number of overs may be reduced for both sides. If there's a complete no-show by both teams, the decision will be left to the organizing team.
In Case of Match Tie
  • If the scores are equal, a super-over will be conducted.
Bowling
  • Underarm bowling and chucking are prohibited.
  • Each team will be given one ball per match. This can be changed only if the ball is lost or unfit to play.
  • The bowling team can approach the umpire for a ball change. The change can be made only at the sole discretion of the umpire.
  • A new ball will be provided at the beginning of each innings.
Scoring Methods
  • Boundaries and sixes apply only when the ball travels along the straight.
  • If the ball touches the side-net, then directly touches the straight-net (boundary line), it is considered as four runs.
  • Only a clean shot that goes over the straight-net (without touching any side-net) is counted as six runs.
  • If the ball touches the side-net, lands on the ground, and then touches the straight-net (boundary line), it is also considered four runs.
  • If the ball touches the side-net or straight-net, and a fielder catches the ball directly, it is not considered a wicket, as the ball has already touched one of the nets.
  • As the ground does not have a top net, if the ball leaves the playing area by passing over the net on either the left or right side or on the back side, 2 runs will be granted to the batting team.
  • As two matches are played simultaneously on adjacent grounds, there may be instances where a ball from one ground enters the other. If a batsman has already played the delivery before the ball from the adjacent ground lands on the playing area, the delivery shall be considered valid. However, if the batsman has not played the delivery before the ball from the adjacent ground lands on the playing area, the delivery shall be declared a dead ball.
  • Byes are allowed, but LBW and leg-byes are not applicable.
  • Runs resulting from an over-throw are allowed.
  • Running between the wickets is allowed, except in cases involving LBW and leg-byes.
  • Wide and no-ball are considered as 1 run. There is no free-hit for a no-ball.
Match Fixtures
  • Match fixtures are at the discretion of the Organizing Team.
  • All matches will be held as per the fixtures — even if two teams belonging to the same Company/Group must play against each other at any stage.
  • No player will be allowed to play in two teams, even if both teams belong to the same Company/Group.
  • Once the fixtures are released, neither the schedule nor the group composition will be altered. Only exception is, if any teams pulls-out after the fixture is released, new team will be replaced in that group.
Dress Code
  • It is recommended to avoid wearing shorts while playing.
  • It is recommended to wear shoes while playing.
Player's Admission
  • The company should send the list of players per team on their letterhead to Logwiz with correct employee names as per employee photo ID proof, max (8+5 additional names). At any given time, only 8 of these 13 players will be allowed to play. Each player must authenticate their photo ID proof (driving license or Aadhar card) to the organizers prior to match commencement — only authenticated players will be allowed to play.
  • Once the first match is completed, the list of 13 players is locked-in and cannot be changed for any subsequent matches. Teams may rotate 8 players from within those 13, but no new players may be added under any circumstances.
Disqualification
  • If the organizers determine that any team member is not employed by the same Company/Group as the rest of the squad, that entire team will be disqualified from the tournament. This tournament is organized to promote and celebrate the logistics fraternity as a unified community.
  • Respectfully, the organizing committee reserves the right to request documentary evidence like payslip, PF UAN Number at any stage of the tournament to verify the player’s employment with the participating Company /Group.
  • We trust participating companies to submit only the genuine player list of the company and not include outsiders solely to boost performance; doing so damages the participating company's reputation and integrity in the market.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Players found guilty will be suspended immediately from the match.
Rain Interruption
  • If rain interrupts a match, the Umpires will assess the situation and take the final decision on whether the match can resume after the rain stops or needs to be postponed to another date.
  • If a match is called-off midway due to rain, irrespective of the number of overs bowled and whether the interruption occurs during the first or second innings, the match shall resume on the rescheduled date from the exact over and ball at which play was stopped.
  • The decision of the Umpires in this regard shall be final and binding.
Player Safety & Injury Disclaimer
  • The Organizing Committee places the highest importance on the safety and well-being of all participants. However, players participate in the tournament at their own risk. The Organizing Committee, its members, officials, and volunteers shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, accident, or medical emergency arising during the course of the match or tournament.
  • All players are therefore requested to play responsibly, follow the instructions of the Umpires and Organizing Team, and take all necessary precautions to ensure their own safety and that of fellow players.
General
  • Players are expected to behave professionally. Abusive language, abusive gestures or questioning umpire decisions is prohibited.
  • Cool drinks are allowed with the umpire's permission.
  • The playing 8 must be present at the venue before the scheduled commencement of the match. No substitute player will be permitted to play in place of an absent player until the actual player arrives. If any player from the Playing 8 arrives late after the match has commenced, that player will not be permitted to participate in that particular match.
  • A substitute fielder will be permitted if a player becomes ill or injured during the game, subject to the umpire's approval. The substitute will not be allowed to bowl or bat, and must be within the listed 13 players.
  • In case of any injury or accident, the Organizing Team is not responsible.
  • Organizers are not responsible for any loss of personal belongings; all are requested to safeguard their personal belongings.
  • Under any circumstances, the registration money will not be refunded.
Note: The organizing team reserves the right to modify or add any rule at any time during the tournament; each participating team is requested to check for updated terms and conditions on any given day.
