Tournament Registration Details

  • Each company is entitled to nominate just one team under one category, 12 players per team (Playing 8).
  • A letter from HR with participants' names and ID proof details is mandatory to participate in the tournament.
  • Registration Fee is Rs. 6000 + GST 18% (non-refundable).

Rules & Regulations

Decision Making
  • All rules and guidelines are defined by the Organizing Team. Umpire decision is final at all situations.
Number of Overs
  • Pre-Quarter Stage: 6 overs per side
  • Quarter-Final Stage: 6 overs per side per side
  • Semi-final Stage: 8 overs per side
  • Final: 10 overs per side
Bowling & Fielding Restriction
  • Pre-Quarter & Quarter Final: Maximum 2 overs per bowler
  • Semi-final & Final: Maximum 3 overs per bowler
  • Throughout the innings, maximum of 3 fielders will be allowed to field beyond the inner circle (3 must be inside the inner circle), umpire to clarify on the inner-circle specification.
  • Players are not permitted to bring the substitute in during the match unless: A player is injured, and the change is approved by the umpire.
  • Batsman Rotation: Teams may rotate the batsman among the 8 members at any point during the match.
Squad
  • 8 players per team (12 per squad)
  • All players, regardless of gender, are welcome to participate—there are no restriction.
Timeline
  • Every team must report 45 minutes prior match scheduled time
  • Any team arriving after the scheduled commencement time will have to play with limited players available in the ground (or) or if complete no show, the opponent team will be considered as winner. Maximum 10 minutes grace time will be permitted subject to concurrence from the opponent team. If both teams are not present for the match on the scheduled time, the number of overs may be reduced for both sides. If complete no show by both the teams, the decision will be left to the organizing team.
In case of Match Tie
  • If the scores are equal, super-over will be conducted.
Bowling
  • Underarm bowling and Chucking are prohibited
  • Each team would be given one ball per match. This can be changed only in circumstances when the ball is lost or unfit to play
  • The bowling team can approach Umpire for ball change. The change can be made only on the sole decision of the umpire
  • A new ball will be provided at the beginning of each innings
Scoring Methods
  • Boundaries and Sixes apply only when the ball travels along the straight.
  • If the ball touches the top-net or side-net, then directly touches the straight-net (boundary line), it is considered as four runs.
  • Only a clean shot that goes over the straight-net (without touching any net (side or top)) is counted as six runs.
  • If the ball touches the top-net or side-net, lands on the ground, and then touches the straight-net (boundary line), it is also considered four runs.
  • If the ball touches the top-net, side-net, or straight-net, and a fielder catches the ball directly, it is not considered as a wicket. This is because the ball has already touched one of the nets (top, side, or straight).
  • Byes are allowed, but LBW and leg-byes are not applicable.
  • Runs resulting from an over-throw are allowed.
  • Running between the wickets is allowed, except in cases involving LBW and leg-byes.
  • Wide and No-ball is considered as 1 run. There is no free-hit for no ball.
Match Fixtures
  • Match fixtures are as per the discretion of Organizing Team.
  • All matches will be held as per the fixtures. If the fixtures are such, even if two teams belonging to the same Company/Group must play against each other at any stage.
  • No player will be allowed in play in two teams, even if both the teams belong to the same Company/Group.
Dress Code
  • It is recommended to avoid wearing shorts while playing.
  • It is recommended to wear shoes while playing.
Rain interruption
  • In the event of a rain interruption, the match may be delayed. If there is a complete washout due to rain, the match will be rescheduled for a later date. Such decisions will be made by the organizing team based on the weather conditions on the day of the match. All the participating teams are requested to show-up to the venue minimum 45 minutes prior unless otherwise advised by the organizing team.
Player's Admission
  • Company should send the list of players per team on their letterhead to Logwiz with correct employee names as in employee photo id proof, max (8+4 additional names). At any given time, only 8 of these 12 players will be allowed to play. Each player must authenticate their photo ID proof (Driving license or Aadhar Card) to the organizers prior match commencement, only the authenticated players will be allowed to play the match.
Disqualification
  • If the organizer finds the player is not from the same Company/Group, then the team will be disqualified from the tournament.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Player found guilty will be suspended immediately from the match.
General
  • Players are expected to behave professionally. Abusive language or questioning umpire decisions is prohibited.
  • Cool drinks are allowed with the umpire’s permission.
  • Substitute fielders are allowed only with the umpire’s approval and cannot bowl or bat.
  • Organizers are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal belongings.
  • During the tournament all participants are expected to behave professionally and should avoid abusive language/gestures/questioning umpires’ decisions
  • After the match commence, cool drinks are allowed for the players only if umpire agrees.
  • A Substitute Fielder will be permitted if the player becomes ill or injured during the game, subject to the umpire’s approval, Substitute will not be allowed to bowl or bat. Substitute player should be within the listed 12 players.
  • In case of any injury or accident, the Organizing Team is not responsible.
  • Organizers are not responsible for any loss of personal belongings, therefore all are requested to safeguard their personal belongings.

Note: The organizing team reserves the right to modify the rules at any time before the match begins.
